Welcome to Coe Company.

We are a luxury upholstery and sewing workshop. Our focus is working with textiles to create the ideal environment that our clients desire. We accomplish this through superior craftmanship in upholstery and artisan-level sewing. Our services include upholstery, curtains, valances, cushions, pillows, slipcovers, and anything else that can be created using textiles. If it can be sewn, we can make it! With over 20 years of sewing experience, our owner Nayeli has acquired a wide range of skills from her years as a fashion designer in Mexico and now as an interior décor fabricator.

About the Founder:

The founder of Coe Company, Nayeli Pavón, was born and raised in Mexico, and worked with fashion all her life. When she was a child, she learned to sew from her mother. Even at that young age, she knew that creating beautiful clothes would always be a part of her life.

She attended Central de Estudios Gestal Design University in Mexico, earning the Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design and Marketing. Later she participated in Elle México Diseña, a contest organized by the international magazine ELLE (Mexico) whose reality show was broadcast by E! entertainment television. Placing second out of thousands sent her to Milan Italy, with a wonderful scholarship at the prestigious Marangoni Institute, where she continued her training as a fashion stylist.

During the following years, she worked in Mexico as a fashion designer under her own brand, Nayeli Pavón. She designed and created custom dresses for her many clients.

After marrying and moving to the United States, Nayeli found the fashion world to be much different for a designer in the United States than in Mexico. With so many boutiques and large department stores, there is less need for a Fashion Designer who can design and create one-of-a-kind dresses. So, she found another area where her design and sewing skills could flourish: upholstery and drapery. While working for a company learning about upholstery and drapery, she realized much of what she already knew plays a large role in what is needed for a successful upholstery or drapery project. Her vast knowledge of fabrics, colors and design has moved seamlessly into this new occupation.

Now instead of dressing women in designer dresses, she is dressing wingbacks, windows, and family heirlooms.
